Centre for Internet & Society

The Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) and Mozilla jointly submitted comments to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s consultation paper on auction of spectrum in frequency bands identified for IMT/5G, released on 30 November 2021.

This submission brings out the merits of a “use-it-or-share it” approach for spectrum to help bridge the rural connectivity gap. CIS appreciates the continual efforts of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India to have consultations, and is grateful for the opportunity to put forth its views and comments.
