Indian language Wikipedias in the classroom: Wikipedia workshop at SVERI, Pandharpur
A Wikipedia workshop is being organised at Shri Vitthal Education and Research Institute (SVERI), Pandharpur, Maharashtra during this 15th-16th.
The “Indian Language Wikipedias in the Classroom” project aims at nurturing the following skills in faculty and students at the institution:
- Creating encyclopaedic content in Indian languages useful to school teachers and students
- Encyclopaedic content writing skills
- Digital information literacy skills
- Ability to critically engage with a concept/theme
- language proficiency skills
