The National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) has launched a website on matters related to disabilities. The website www.accesshub.org was launched by Social Welfare Minister M K Muneer here on Wednesday.

NMEICT Funds Book Conversion Project for the Print Disabled

IIT, Kharagpur, Daisy Forum of India, Inclusive Planet and the Centre for Internet and Society have joined hands to undertake a project for the print disabled. The National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) is funding this project.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE) released a revised draft of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act which is up for comments on the MSJE website. The Centre for Law and Policy Research, Inclusive Planet and the Centre for Internet and Society jointly submitted a note on the section on statutory authorities.
